I have read a fair amount of Harlequin stories and this one, well, it kinda made me mad in a way that I rather skip through the story than reading it as a whole.
Throughout the story, it felt like the FL was a bit more selfish and more easily persuade than the I like to admit. I get she's self conscious about her body and she has every right to celebrate and enjoy life when she finally finds someone to love her in both physical and mental sense, but at the same time, she doesn't fully think things through.
First of all, why would you share such private information in an area like that? I understand it's her own info and she has a choice, but did she really not think that this person could have easily looked her up the way the ML did?
And second of all, she can't exactly get mad at her family for saying that the ML is just using her because she was there to grab info or at least win some favor points for her father. Of course, they don't know him in the way she knows him, but they do know how cruel the political world can be, and in a sense, they were looking for her.
