Of course there’s another way. Make a contract with her giving her a title such as “the royal seamstress” and put a guard on her.
At that point she's still just a seamstress, and since she's still just a wee Bab her parents can legally make her come back as her guardians once they find out. Once she gets married they're no longer her legal guardians because she'll be emancipated. Though I'm hoping that they can just stick it out and hide her until she's old enough
I understand the age gap is ridiculous, but tbh it's not like he's proposing from a purely selfish place, and doing this would ensure her safety, so I understand him. Obviously I would like if we could find another way, but I'm not mad at this, as long as she's happy I'm happy.
