Yes! I also wouldn't the other guy if he is the ML, but since he only recently became a marquis, he wouldnt able to protect MC that much unlike the former king.
MC is already 15, a marriageable age in that era, you can't just put modern morals in that setting. Plus, he's doing it for her safety, and he's hot (づ￣ ³￣)づ I wouldn't mind if he is the ML.
