probably will get hate for this but honestly? i know the duke is the ML but he basically has no chemistry with the FL and just from this chapter we can see that she’s grouped him with the terrible things/people that have ruined her life. i really wish a different love interest is introduced but i know its super unlikely bc manhuas NEVER give in to 2nd leads ):
