if I remember correctly, the red hair guy is the twin's guardian. but bc of something concerning the emperor, he can't really be with them
I thought he was the children's guardian but just hasn't been able to stay by their side....I'm probably wrong though
He is what I was trying to say was that they seem to have history together because the red haired guardian and the emperor had that one conversation together when the twins were asleep. The emperor said "Why'd you have to be their guardian" or something along those lines he stated it like they've met before

I really think the red haired guardian is the guardian of the emperor's father or something because they speak so casually towards each other
