Wasn’t the Emperor’s guardian a green snake?We’ve seen this when they discuss about each royal’s guardians and that image of the Emperor transferring his guardian to the Empress was green. The twin’s mother may seem like a snakey type of a woman but her color scheme is dark purple and red eyes.
I have a feeling that the twin's mother was actually the emperor's guardian whom he transferred to the empress. Because:
1. The Twin's mum says that the emperor can never escape her. She dies, he'd die too? And guardians are supposed to be life long companions, if I'm not wrong?
2. Her eyes and hair (twin's mum's) are the same as the eyes of the empress. And guardians resemble their respective owners.
