Scrubs are the ones that she was wearing while operating the patients

scrubs are the clothing that she wears like the apron, gloves, mask, hair net/covering.
You could also call it PPE (personal protective equipment). When you have bodily fluids or have just come from something like surgery you must change your scrubs as not to spread infections/bacteria. I also think for her to walk around a hospital in a bloody outfit would be quite disturbing for patients and colleagues.
