*SPOILER* Two childhood friends like each other having an ambiguous more than friends but not dating, relationship. One is comfortable In her sexuality, the other is not and is deeply afraid of being outed.
After realizing the harsh views and treatments that queer individuals have, her friend tells her she is in fact straight and likes a boy. That boy likes her childhood friend and helps the two girls comes to term with their feelings and settles it.
While I'm not the target audience, I can't say that the author did a good job of explaining the emotions the characters were feeling.
