That's also what I was thinking. Instead of being gay and trying to be with Naruse or Asumi, he might end up finding it disgusting when he knows they're together and starting rumors in both Naruse's workplace and Asumi's college. But he also could be gay and maybe the reason Asumi recognized his name is maybe because the school has rumors about him being gay.
