yep yep yep yep yep. i agree with everything that you said. there should've been a warning or a never do this irl at the end or beginning but there wasnt, which means the author didnt think that this was r*pe and didnt intend for it to be seen that way, which is a huge problem. and if this was irl, the victim would most likely develop trauma and definitely not be in love with it, unless they into that
it’s sad how extremely normalized r*pe is in most bl and yaoi. i guess it *sometimes* contributes to the plot because it’s fiction but i hope authors atleast put something like a note that says “Never do this in real life.” or anything along that line. (let’s be honest: if the story was realistic, the victim would definitely not develop any kind of romantic feeling towards the rapist except for TRAUMA)
