Was Keigo and Nishi really official tho? Before he met up with the major? Cause this is my third time re-reading this but I remember in the first volume, Keigo and Nishi had a conversation where Keigo said he wants them to be lovers but Nishi said they can still do something fun without being lovers. I don't think there was a conversation between them establishing they were lovers before Nishi met the general.
With this in mind, I believe the term "boyfriend" could've been a mistranslation. Maybe it was supposed to be partners (exclusively sex). But I could be wrong, I can't read Japanese.
If I'm wrong, then Nishi is an asshole in romance.
