The nobles aren't happy about rosebitch. She's way too extravagant whole the country suffers economically (who tf wears a very expensive dress only for 5 hours) and so they planned on dethroning her. They also plan on dethroning Lucio since they think he's stupid for killing petronilla just to put rosebitch on the throne. They think he isn't worthy of being the emperor(yes i agree. That naive man really isn't). So princess Lauren (daughter of Duke witherdord-will come up later in the webtoon) is planted as a spy in rosebitch's side as her lady in waiting to find evidence on how they were able to frame petronilla. Since it was all a frame up, they were able to make duchess Ephreney (she'll come up later in the webtoon) testify to the nobles of their evil doing. Emperor can't do anything so she will be executed. It's only up till there. Next chapter to be uploaded will be about emperor's demise. This is a sidestory in the novel. So the novel is already completed. Just waiting for the side stories.
