yah i also thought tht also yUki death hppnd cuz of mafuyu cuz he alwys thought he don't belong to tht space even when he was with yuki and now with eunoyama and keep running away like he did in recent chpter he is not learning from his previous mistake i m frustrated by the story somewht Mafuyu is not moving on

Istg he was so sensitive at that time. I just want to give uenoyama a tight hug because I know that if I was him I couldn't handle all that anxiety and jealousy....ffs I just want to give him the importance that he deserved cause he is such a patient and understanding person. It's not that I hate mafuyu, but he should also be mindful specially he already have uenoyama.

I know mafuyu cant control it but like our boy ueno keeps getting the short end of the stick and its tiring sometimes....

I was like even tho. Im not reading, I was shouting "Yuki your dead already! " And my parents be like "So noisy, what happened anyway.." Just can't contain this depressing feeling..

The reason Mafuyu hasn't completely healed and moved on is because he ignores and suppresses his emotions, due to his abusive father; he said he "gets hit" when he speaks. He prevuosly stated before that, "But the truth is... I'm the one who has no idea how I feel. I didn't want to face how I really felt, so I've been avoidong it". He didn't grow up in a healthy envirnment where he could freely express himself. This causes him to be more aloof, disconneted from reality, and out of touch with his emotions. He doesn't have healthy a coping mechanism, thus he hasn't properly processed Yuki's death.

In order to heal, you must understand why you felt what you did and why you no longer need to feel it. That's the key to inner peace, understanding yourself. This is the highest form of human's need; to self-actualize. "Know thyself" is the essence of healing.

To completely heal and to move on from losing a loved one that was a big part of your life isn't an overnight thing. It can take months, even years. It wasn't just a regular break up. It's only until he joined the band that he progessed. He finally has an outlet to express himself. Even if it was "insensitive" to make a song of his ex, it was something he needed to face himself and not just run away from ever having to verbalize it.

It's completely normal for old memories to resurface when one is reminded of it. The hole isn't completely filled yet, but it will slowly will. Just need some understanding and empathy for Mafuyu

Trauma is a long lasting thing and doesn't just go away once your life starts to "get better". He's still stuggling with past experiences he was unequipped to handle till he joined the band. It was on a standstill and we are currently witnessing him process it.

Don't give your logic here... Thats shit, Lets say that your right! Its obvious your siding on Mafuyu, I get that because hes the protagonist, but hey! Im on Uenoyamas side, before you go giving your explanation about the situation on Mafuyu,, you should also consider that he's not the only one remember that, the story is not only revolving on Mafuyu, there's a lot of scene happened, and you go caring only Mafuyu because he's suffered BIGTIME..

Why make a post when you don’t want people to give their interpretation of the story and explaining mafuyu struggle on moving forward. That whole entire paragraph you’ve wrote can apply to uenoyama as well, “the StoRy doESnT reVolVE on UeNoyAmA, thERE’s a LOt Of ScEne HaPpeninG”. Is it that difficult to understand a character who can’t move on, it’s not because mafuyu loves yuki, but more he can’t forget about his whole entire existence as a person. Reminiscing about someone isn’t bad either, that’s mafuyu of mourning. “YoU oNLY cArE aboUT UeNoYaMa, but Mafuyu SUffERD BIGTIME. Can’t ignore the straight up facts that the person is placing in front of you. Pop off on someone who is debunking your single minded perspective.

It’s not like we are trying to force into being mafuyu side either, SIMPLY UNDERSTAND THAT HE IS A HIGH SCHOOLER AND HAS THE RIGHT TO MOURN AND REMEMBER SOMEONE WHO PASSED AWAY.
