fyi, ml goes like on the first timeline only. the comic doesn’t properly explain in what ways is he abusive, its all perfectly explained on the novel. and there’s also the reason why he became abusive in the first place (poisoned, lack of love, ofc i also think that he is stupid ). well i think u know that this comic has a rewind plot based from what u read from those comments. maybe they cant accept the way ml execute her on a first timeline and the fact that she end up with him again. but chill man, the ml is totally different if compared to first timeline and there’s a lot of chemistry between fl and other male leads. thats my opinion tho, just wanna share it in case u still confused (づ￣ ³￣)づ

she thought that herself is a protagonist in that world, but on second timeline from time to time she realize that she is only an antagonist (she accepted the fact when she saw aristia was on brink of death). yep, bc of that, she beg to god to save aristia even tho her own divine power will gone. actually the divine power i mean is about healing power. im a bit forgot about this one, it seems like on first timeline she can heal people but on second timeline she could only heal plants. i forgot about the one causing this problem, but that’s it ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

i think its more like regret than wishing to be happy, bc when aristia give her a chance (give romeo n juliet poison and real poison). jieun said “in the end i lost to you again” and then she talk about what happened to herself when aristia died on first timeline (after aristia died, queen’s work was done by jieun and that make the kingdom fall. ruve even said it to her “its better if aristia was the empress”) so yea. when she realize that she is an antagonist, she thought that her life will be more pitiful if she continue to be selfish, that made her saves aristia and made her live a so so life in other kingdom after she drink romeo juliet poison.

what i mean about “in the end i lost to you again” its about the first timeline which she lost to aristia for ruve love. i alr said it tho, jieun takes over queen’s duty (make stupid decisions, make the kingdom itself fell, and make duke zena successful to be a king). dont forget that jieun is just 18 y.o modern gurl, what can u expect for her to run a kingdom? bc of this problem, ruve realize and say it to her face that “its better if aristia was the empress instead of u dumbass”. this is what i mean about “lost to u again”. aristia died watching ruve and jieun on the throne, so in first timeline jieun just do nothing than be duke zena pawn to control ruve (even tho she doesn’t know it herself). yep she only save aristia in the second timeline.
