Lol, she's acknowledged as the discoverer of the cure and gets a medal from the emperor later, so it's not all altruistic loss on her part. All good.
I didn't even think about securing the idea because Chloe is rich. Lol. I'm sure she did not think about it at that time. She pitied the girl and her family and wanted to help.
It's low-key a shame that she gave away the skorbut key so easily without properly securing it from a business standpoint but at least she saved lives. Capitalism is so deeply ingrained into me, maybe that's the real shame.
