It depends bcz at my place people hardly ever have it, it is unnecessary and also not looked at in a good way

well, i dunno for the other countries in asia, but people in my country LOVE alcohol. and young adults drink gin more often than beer... i think. however you don't usually see people dead drunk like that.

Nothing bad, really... It's just that it seems kind the image the pass through their media... In Korea, for example, a guy from my country that went there, said people would drink so much that it was normal to see people sleeping on benchs on their way home...
He even said is not difficult to find someone puking because of the drink... :v
He said people go hard on the drink, even though the alcohol is high...
I've seen the same on Japanese media... And I've read they also highly value on drinks...
I may have generalized a little when I said "Asians", but I did said the countries names to point about which Asia I was talking about... So, sorry about that... English is not my mother language so I get confused sometimes whe explaining things...

Well... Is not like there's not alcohol at my country, and people usually go for it on weekends... But they usually don't like to drink with coworkers and they avoid drinking on week days, since it can affect the work... Japanese surely think diferently...

Yeah... Same here... Although here, they prefer beer because it's cheap ╮(￣▽￣)╭
