Yeah but what does he have anything to gain by controlling trashta? He is rich so I don’t think it’s money and it’s not like trashta can influence the emperor so it’s useless to think that if he controls trashta he could also control the emperor...I still don’t understand

What I don’t understand is, what does Heinley’s friend have anything to gain by helping Trashta? I mean isn’t he Heinley’s friend? Why does he make his own friend seem suspicious in front of the Empress? I hate the friend almost as much as I hate Trashta and the trash emperor.
