one of the only stories ive ever dropped, i just couldn't read any more. really interesting premise for the plot but terrible execution. i just don't understand why rape was used for every single plot arc, there was many other factors that would have flowed way better if they were built on.. i was really uncomfortable throughout most of the book, the only redeeming factor was the supportive step-brother and the character development of the father.
