The drama was amazing! You should finish the novel, the ending that they have there is much more romantic and affectionate in my opinion
Considering the novel was made first and converted into three different things nobody should be surprised.. I’m still mildly shocked about Wei Ying’s rape fetish in the novel lol

the pain the untamed gave me it's still fresh despite the "happy" ending jdksksk i keep thinking about how in the start everything was so light hearted and happy, jiang clan was alive, wei ying smiled big and bright. at the end it's kinda sad how almost everything changed and every companion of wei ying died. i try to convince myself that this was the best ending we could get, i imagine wei ying happily living together with lan zhan after he comes back for him at the end of the drama and he makes up with jiang cheng and visits other clans too, occasionally. gonna keep being delusional in peace ik the ending in the novel is different but i only read half of it so---
anyways I'm scared to continue this because ik it's gonna get fucked up too, soon. i wanna rewatch the drama for the 3rd time but I can't find any person to watch it with and watching it alone is too sad now
