I'm Pissed Off

So I'm kinda pissed off RN ngl, halfway through chapter 12 and the ML is calling the MC petty for all of her plastic surgery and rating others women's faces. She's a fucking victim of the toxic environment she lived in and should not be criticized at all. I feel like crying out of frustration reading it all. My heart aches for our MC. For anyone who goes through bullying and judgement because of their appearance. Their actions after that are simply defense mechanisms made in order to try and protect themselves. Sure, some, if not a lot, can be toxic and perpetuate into the harmful ideals of the overall environment but STILL. You need to be empathetic and loving, especially to the victims. How are they supposed to start healing and growing and accepting if someone doesn't start to help them? If all you do is tear them down then of course there won't be much self improvement. I wanna punch out the ML like who the fuck are you to talk? Stop acting all high and mighty and take a look at it from her perspective she was constantly physically, verbally, and emotionally bullied since she was little. Of course she's gonna be beyond scarred and want to completely reshape her face. So fuck off if you aren't gonna show kindness. Y'all say he's logical well he's not using his logic. Being logical is being able to properly assess the situation and he has not done that. If he did he would be able to easily connect the dots surrounding Mirae's change and react appropriately. He's just an opinionated dick
