The only thing I didn't like was his injury and I'm not justifying the method of stripping him of his robes was the right one. Just that everyone saw that he's a male and the king is still going to protect him so knowing that, no one is going to try and hurt him, I really hope the seme protects him well. (▰˘◡˘▰)
Who knew I'd be reading my first chinese historical yaoi 'about a tyrant' who'd stand still and watch Chen being humiliated by petty servants and a desperate simp? This is too much, I would have dropped this but I want to see Chen smiling happily. I might start to wish for a second male lead at this rate. Hopefully, not the emperor.
