I think it's the same dog especially how friendly it was not all dogs are friendly in their first meeting with a human but Hai is the suspicious one he's either vampire hunter or half human half vampire he's not full vampire for sure because the sun doesn't have any damage on him he must have done something to the dog for it to heal that fast
