As I understood yeah, both of them are alive at that body (the body belongs to Lam and the head belongs to Blanche) and the manga was from Lam’s perspective and her finding out that they can never meet again because they are trapped in the same body... And she constantly said how beautiful Blanche was DAMN YOU BELONGED TO EACH OTHER WHYYYY（/TДT)/
wait so the girl we saw throughout the whole manga was actually the dark haired girl in the picture just with her friends head...? holy shit thats more disturbing than sad
