can confirm, insecurity crosses all sexualities and genders eep. despite being happy and proud of being in the lgbtq+ comm, there are moments every now and then where i still face internalised homophobia. its not something i want to go through bc everyone is deserving of love no matter what gender, but it definitely stems from being raised in a somewhat conservative asian household. its a tough reality but its all about the support you have and just wanting to move forward (▰˘◡˘▰)
I feel the uke especially the insecurity of being a gay/queer spectrum. I thought being in hetero gives us more painful feelings, but even within the Lgbtqia+ will also give you a headache as well. Truth and reality hurts.
