For me no matter what, the emperor had the power and right to at least ensure the kids' lives were away from abuse and neglect. He could've planted a confidant for them in cases when they couldn't handle the pain or to control Rurahel. It's the undeniable truth that he neglected the kids and hurt them. No matter his intentions now his sins for that part cannot be excused.

    I totally agree. Whats in present doesnt fix what happend in the past. The children are hurt enough to the point they cant even trust anybody anymorr
