I agree with you but since we haven't read the whole story I hope that this indeed is a redeeming one with a happy ending. So maybe I will pause for a while for chapters to amass

This is HUGE character development. It is evident that the new emperor is FAR BETTER AND DIFFERENT from Wonje. I'm really loving this story. This deserves 9.5+ ratings.
If you're new and deciding whether to read it or not, I say READ IT! If you're worried about this being TOO DARK, this is MUCHHH lighter compared to Warehouse and Killing Stalking.
