guy mostly ends up taking care of the other guys sons while he travels all the time (they are only friends). (photographer or something)
one of the sons has a thing for him and went after him . working at being an actor i believe? they end up together.
dad comes home for a while. (son thinks there is something between them.)
i believe he talked to his friend honestly, about liking his son.
but he made his son work for being with his best friend. cause he does treasure his friendship an him raising his boys all these years.
