Is the girl in on it? Why would she be helping the rapist I don’t get it

I think it’s because he has a lot of information on her and is threatening her. Sometimes you can’t get out of a abusive cycle because you have no where to go and your scared of what they would do if you do leave. But that’s just my thoughts.
