imo he should settle this immediately the right way because just ending it suddenly is not solving anything and it will just bother him all the more and be at the back of his mind and he'd be more distracted... If u look at it from his perspective he just probably thinks that cake dude (IDR his name) is just a sex friend he just keeps thinking about and that cake dude could have many others it would be the best way to break off that unstable relationship that they have and give more time to his struggling daughter is probably what he’s thinking
