It is indeed abduction. Of course we don't know for sure that they knew someone from another world would be summoned, but since it is the end result it is pretty bad. Anyone would be pissed of in her situation. And this is the reason why the behavior of the Royal family and civil servants was unforgivable. They ruined someone's life. Even if in their eyes they had no talent and no merit they still should have taken responsibility and not waited to see if she was the Saintess or not . I don't like the King for this reason. And reading the novel made it worse... If you want a spoiler...
They are actually planning an arranged marriage with Sei and the Prime minister would actually have forced her to marry the King if he had not refused because he was still very much in love with his dead wife... Atrocious. Thanks got they are still pushing for marriage but at least let Hawk slowly seduce her before he confese and ask for her hand. But that is saying a lot about them, right? I swear, they feel no shame and learn nothing.

Now that you mentioned it, it is an abduction. I also enjoy reading isekai and prefer reincarnated ones rather than transported ones. It makes you think of what will happen to the other side, will they just forget while the ones transported laments not only about their love ones but also about this new responsibility imposed to them.

Whaaaaat?? Seriously?? That is sooo disgusting!! They do this shit under the pretense that this was an ugly, single woman living alone hence it's easy for her to just forget everything and be with hot guys in the new world...well this is sooo creepy. the women are doing it to survive.. I'm pretty sure that the women would have acted differently if they knew they could go back...also what about the other girl? What about her? She looks young..maybe in school..what about her family? Or her loved ones? And what happens to her now that the world knows that she's not the saint? Do they dump her? Or just take in a pretty face and then what? She ends up as a concubine?? Tragic.
There was a manga...the bride of the water God( japanese one) where the female lead is taken in at a very young age and gets to go back after a decade...there her family thought her dead. They have a son who she's never met, she's got no skills about tech and has the educational qualifications of a grade schooler... it made me feel so bad for chatacters like her and other isekai protagonists.
I don't really like this story....not because of the main character or the other girl or anything. Because this is sooo similar to abduction...I read a lot of isekai...and it kinda made me realize..isn't this abduction?
The reincarnation or back in time ones aren't as bad because you're originally a member of society and with more experience and knowledge to do things..
But this version of isekai is straight up abduction. Worse if the character has no way of going back. What's the point of them doing a life threatening quest after being snatched from their every day lives only to be told you can't go back.. To some it might seem good especially if their original lives were bad. But what's the point?
Digimon was an isekai where after the adventure the characters grew up and went back with more worldly knowledge and fond memories.
But this sort made me sad.. especially after watching shield hero...
Sei too was discarded and has no choice but to make a home here... But now that she has made friends here if she were to be sent back everything would be for naught...so what's good?
