RIGHT. usually the ukes are one of two-
incredibly naive to the point where its PAINFUL. it doesn't bother me if there's a reason for it, but you cant tell me the AVERAGE highschool boy doesn't know what sex is. THAT PISSES ME OFF. And on top of that they don't know how to take care of themselves and get super attached the wrong people and these are the ones that will be in love for years and pull the stupid "Do I love him?" After the seme has already poured his heart out and then desperately try to get the seme back when the seme CLEARLY deserves better
THEN theres the "I take no bullshit" uke that is overly aggressive and constantly like verbally abuses their partner and never likes to show affection. It's funny for a while but then after they've been having sex for years they'll still act like they were forced into it. these are the characters that also see the seme talking to ONE girl and turn around and cry like "he never loved me" and its always either one of three- mom (like 20% of the time), friend that already is in a relationship (10% of the time) and the last is the SISTER about 80% of the time. they also suck at communication.
this mc? he's beautiful. smart. average person with trauma that fell in love and is working past it. IM IN LOVE WITH THIS STORY. It's like it's healing my past bl trauma all in one go

I love how MC is so realistic, he is not dumb and analyze situations, he is not naive and try to understand and respect each people around him.
I REALLY LIKE the way he watches this asshole ( his "best friend") when this one ask "is he more important than me" like "try to say that..." And MC aswers with his determined eyes like "you bet ?"
Like he puts a challenge "you will see, I will get out of your fucking life, and YOU will be alone. " THAT WAS SO COOL ! He is proud and honor is a quality which miss a lot in MC in BL.
