if it's broken then why former contractor's blood is sweet to him? I think there might be smth else or maybe Sooin is a trump card in between contractors and vampires or so... Or maybe Sooin has some secret origin like we still don't know him fully

First off both Choi and Hwan hate each other but additionally Choi seemed to do something that forced Hwan to make him his Link.
At the same time, (from what I can tell folks I am not a Korean reader in other words I can't read any Korean!) they are both bound to each other where they can't kill each other but they are also stuck with one another.
There is a flashback scene in one of the raws where Hwan is choking Choi sobbing in the pouring rain surrounded by what looks like dead bodies. While Choi has a contemptuous smirk as though he has the upper hand.
Now I am not certain of all the details but from the looks of it Choi forced Hwan to make him his Link so I highly doubt they have the ex-fiancé/lover setup most people are envisioning.
So far there is not any additional background shown although as Hwan is talking to Sooin on the bed he (Hwan) envisions Choi holding him by chain that is bound around his (Hwan's) neck.
In the latest raw chapter so far we see Hwan and Sooin go into the frozen north and something tells it is not just for their honeymoon but that remains to be seen.

So if I understand Sooin is also a link who made a contract with the same vampire. I guess the vampire stayed a very long time without sucking blood until he met Sooin. I wonder what happen with his former link ? They said vampire can’t drink someone else’s blood if it’s not his link but he can drink another human’s blood. This is strange. Maybe the contract with the former link was broken.
