Everyone has their owns reasons for not particularly liking certain people due to religion or life experiences, but she is still able to respectfully accept someone for who they are without having to be a full on lgbtq+ supporter and ally. The fact that she’s trying her hardest to understand the community and her best friend means she’s learning to accept it, but that doesn’t mean she HAS to think it’s okay. The fact that she’s trying is enough. Also, the boss is pansexual, not gay, so her acceptance would have to be of the lgbtq+ community as a whole, and she herself may be bisexual as she is attracted to men and if the ship blossoms, she might also be attracted to women.

To explain what I mean, she seemed very devote to her religion, and despite what she was made to believe and what she did, she is trying her best which is enough. She genuinely seems to care about her God and the people who believe in him too. Because of this, she has homophobic tendencies. I think people forget sometimes acceptance and being up for anything doesn’t have to be compulsory, as long as one is trying to understand them, and they’re coming to terms with it is okay.
I do want them to get together, but I’m a little worried. chanmi should realize that being gay is okay.
