I think it's because he wanted someone who isn't interested in him.
I personally think it was a bit of "this is what's best for you" attitude from Jinwoo as well as some other factors.
He wants to solo dungeons and there's no way Cha would've agreed to that, she would've probably insisted on going with even knowing that he doesn't need help.
She's also already contracted with the other guild and it would've been a lot of effort and money for her to leave, and it would draw a lot of attention and maybe even make a bad relationship between Jinwoo's guild and Hunter guild.
Overall, she just wasn't the kind of person he was looking to recruit. He wanted someone whose name could appear on a document and he would do all the hunting.
Because she would get annoying with clinginess

yup, pretty much on the $$ He wants to do the dungeons solo. Other people joining him is just them being in danger and slow him down honestly, and he wants to keep all the points and keep leveling up faster. The level to which is he so much stronger than the rest is ridiculous and keep getting higher... for a reason to be revealed later ;)

Because he doesn't want another active hunter in his guild he wants to go in Solo.
It would essentially put another S-ranked hunter out of the field, he believes Hunters have to hunt. Her joining his guild is pointless in his perspective
I didn't get why cha wasn't accepted, I mean she lost against beru, but before that she kicked igris' but quite cleanly. Is it just because sung jin woo didn't want her on the team?
