This does no answer my question about the gloves, not at all.
Seem like he has a germ phobia or some type of phobia with his hands and public places. And it's not uncommon for the inheritance thing to happen I know a couple people whose parents did this. My grandmother being one of them when she dies everything she has will be giving to us grandchildren and not her children. Idk why but that is how her will is set up
So like i know it's only a plot device but...there is no way someone would forget that ALL their money was together with their wifes and then sign a waiver to the right to said money, also if it's to be inherited by the son when he comes of age theres no way he'll come of age if the father can't support them...like..seriously, i get it plot ddevice but...there's nothing about those first two chapters that screams 'normal people' at all.
