You gotta remember tho the curse was first originally intended for the royal family and instead it somehow got deflected to Alejandro. So of course the king would be curious as to how it disappeared.
I think he's actually worried about the fact that he forced the priests to put the curse that was SUPPOSED to be on his son on to an unsuspecting family, using abuse of power and selfish reasons to save his own son. If [the girl] fixed the curse, then she probably knows about the curse, in which case the royal family's bad deeds will come to light.
