I predict a big drama when he founds out that he has no talent, and he actually got the big opportunity just because a rich guy likes him.
He has to have SOME sort of talent, if not he wouldn't have been placed in the same roles constantly through out his career. The issue is that he currently doesn't currently have the A class skills which his new company caters toward. Which really, now that he is in with a big name acting company, they can send him classes, and teachers so that he can learn how to further his modeling and acting career.
I don't think he will blow up as much as you are predicting, instead I think he will go the mature route of noticing that he is being cared for. However, he MIGHT go the with the thought that he is being handed a successful career so that he can have something to do if his son is taken from him.
