Did you watch season 4? Kita shinsuke talking about talent. Geniuses with talent don't get to where they are on day 1 just cuz of talent. And if you read the manga you'd know how much kageyama suffered in the past. His grandfather died and his sister gave up on volleyball, his teammates rejected him in junior high. Talent is only that extra 1%. It's rude of you to think that kageyama is glorified just because he's talented. He put in a lot of hard work, sweat and effort. You can't just gloss over all that by a single word of talent.
Honestly I WAYYYY prefer oikawa over kageyama cos I don't like how the anime kind of glorifies talent over hardwork I mean I get that kageyama went through shit and worked hard too but oikawa worked so hard and lost so many things (like hurting his knee and losing his girlfriends over volleyball) just cos he didnt have nAtuRAl taLeNT like kageyama
