no he doesn't. he was just mad bc everyone had a loving partner while his love interest (who he loved for who knows how many years) is married and is getting a baby. he was mad that he didn't had a chance with him from the start but was bound to continue loving him as he can't just stop.
he just wanted to hurt someone and since this guy was there he told him he loves his crush/lover.
