And like I started reading BL and yaoi when inuyasha doujinshi was still a thing... that’s like 10 years ago lol, and the Japanese AV industry then somehow think that a women/uke saying “stop/yamete” while someone is pouncing on them is very sexually appealing, although honestly with today’s view on rape and gender equality, along with the normalization of LGBT, these kinds of forcing on someone becomes unacceptable and disgusting. And yes I totally agree that, just because something is fictional, doesn’t mean it has no negative impact on the society, when younger reader might find that it’s okay to do that plus the lack of sex education in school, it would be all hell breaks loose by then lol
I know this is a typical yaoi trope but as I get older, and my view on a relationship become more mature and practicle, my blood pressure is over the top whenever I see characters behave like Yahwi ugh. I almost throw up when I see him forcing himself on the bottom, as it makes me remember I was once being in the same situation when I was 10 in a public bathroom when I go swim in the sport center near my house
