Well there's this plot point going on in the background that the mafia guys are going to abduct Sooyoung since they discovered he's a weakness for TS. But it turns out that TS was orchestrating the whole thing so that SY will be more dependent on him or something like that. I'm not too sure exactly but I think this sweet caring side he's shown to SY is just an act so that he can force SY deeper into his arms (kinda like what SY's hyung was trying to do). Also season 1 will apparently be ending soon and we will see more of Minhyuk next season so maybe author is setting MH up as the good guy?

I don't think taesung was ever "good" in the first place bc he's mafia and has done a lot of undeniably bad shit throughout the series (kill and maim), but i think the way he treats SY is definitely different from the hyung. Even though he's expressed a strong possessiveness for SY in past chapters he doesn't force SY to stay with him and instead lets SY do whatever he wants, betting that SY will come to realize that he doesn't want to get hurt anymore and will come to TS on his own accord. Although I will say the whole using SY as bait plan is manipulative and I'm sincerely hoping TS will catch Kang Il before anything bad happens to SY

Yes Taesung was actually never a good guy. He’s mafia afterall. I just kind of forgot cause he was being so sweet and loving with SY all these chapters and when compared to how scummy MH has been acting, I just kind of started thinking of him as this mafia with a heart of gold but yeah let’s see what happens. I think there’s like 2-3 more chapters before season 1 ends and it might go for a break. Something big is gonna happen for sure
