From what i remember, the goddess likes the dragon from way back but because their belief doesnt align they went their separate ways ( the dragon believes in reasons while the goddess believe that even if its wrong if its for the sake of love everything is okey) because the emperor is the embodimenet of the dragon the goddess is drawn to him as well and she is the jealous type, it is said that the goddess possess girls who are over 14 thats why the emperor needs a wife that is under the age 14 because the goddess will possess his wife otherwise. The little sister of the prince was actually possessed by the goddess in the first timeline. being the goddess of love she wants all the love and attention to herself. The reason why jill was called a bait is because knowing that there is a 'dragons bride' the goddess of love will come after jill and the emperor will use that chance to kill her, and im not sure if i remember correctly but if theres any chance the goddess would possess jill the emperor would still kill her along with jill. But dont worry, rave explained all of this to jill when the goddess arrive, the emperor locked jill up and cast a protected barrier in order to protect her from the goddess but jill being our strong girl hehe decided to fight the goddess and protected the emperor instead ^^
