They are animals. They do not shapeshift the authors just drew drem into human with the animals features since it'd be pretty weird to see a animals have sex lol

He's probs high lol. Jk idk actually i think he just randomly sees them as either animals and humans heis eyes are playing tricks on em

I think its more like, the animals see each other in human form between each other, and the professor sees them like how the animals sees each others and thats happening. No?
