In some points he “kinda” consented but in my eyes, I believe he only consented because he was being threatened and didn’t think that anyone would help him because in the past he fired a whole bunch of people. One of them being the semes father. So he did consent but he didn’t do it willingly so no he didn’t consent . But I’m sure there are others who read this who digress from my point of view.
This is how I look at it: Kamio at those points accepts it as a sort of punishment because he doesnt think he deserves good due to ending the livelihood of many. Their source of income I mean. It's like a constant force and I'm wanting to read the story till the end to find out the reasons and all. I'm just wondering when it would be a welcomed touch. Thanks for your input!
