Their relationship does get better. Emily became a very trustworthy person, and does not betray Penelope. Also, Penelope was very worried about her when she heard that Emily got kidnapped. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Its strange that Emily, the maid was a horrible person in the beginning and all, but she started to grow on me after I read the novel. And I can say without a doubt, Emily was actually the only one beside the Crown Prince who showed the FL their true color and gain the FL trust. Because she didn't hide anything, and she also became one of the very few who the FL can trust as well as stand by her side.
