What he did was wrong, indeed. He's also aware that he hurt people who cared about him, and he's not in denial about it, he's accepting his faults and he's paying for his mistakes and lies. I'm glad to see that he's finally getting his shit together and trying, so I don't think second chances will be wasted on him.

How can people justify his actions ? I know being gay is hard. I, unfortunately, will not be able to understand the hardship that LGBTQ+ community has to face. However, what he did was terrible. His mom can pressure him, but she didn't tell him cheat. She tried to break them up. Of everything, he chose to satisfy his selfish desire. He can break up with MC to make his mom happy, or fight against her and make her understand. BUT HE CHEATED. He wants both his mom and QiuYi, but didn't want to pay the price. Now, he has no right at all to act like what he did. Acting jealous and petty, trying to break the couple.
Also, people sympathize with him, but no one sympathized with his ex-wife at all ?? We , straight woman, can't understand his pain, but we can understand his ex-wife pain right ? I don't want to see him happy at all. I feel bad for him, but doesn't make any justification for his actions. He hurts not only MC but also his ex-wife. His mom didn't make him cheat, didn't ask him to lie to his wife.
