She and Reynold end up on decent terms towards the end of the novel and there might be a foundation for building a relationship in the future. It wasn't made entirely clear if they will or not, though.
However, Derrick is a lost cause.
I really liked how she didn't just forgive them for all the shit they put her/Penelope through. Very refreshing.
