The ML is the crown prince. He eventually apologizes for what he did when they first met. His circumstances were that he's dealing with constant assassination attempts. He couldn't afford to trust anyone so he though FL was one of those.

Well, damn. I hope he has a good redemption arc. None of the capture targets are even remotely likeable for now, so I'm looking forward to see how that change.
As much as I understand his reasoning, he is downright being immature right now. What's worst is that the tingle in my spine kept telling me that Reynold is the real main ML and I'm not really okay with that. At this rate, even the crown prince seems better and that is me scraping the bottom of a burnt pot with a vibranium scraper.
Dang MC, can't you just avoid everyone as you wait peacefully until your 18th bday, leave the family when they rejoice over Vyonne's return and go have a happy life somewhere far away.
