I've read a bunch of this kind of trope and I didn't mind some of them. But the way this specific story was executed is a huge NO for me.
Same here. I think the reason why I accepted some of the other ones I read (not condoning any of the rape tho) is bc after learning the true feelings of the other person they end up changing and apologizing. Or at least feeling guilty. But nooo the younger brother instead manipulates the older one into believing that it’s his fault he became weird. He never tried to understand his brother at all. This pissed me off so much. The older brother deserves to find his own happiness. I know that his goal was repay his parents. But if they weren’t going to accept it than he should’ve left. Find a new life for himself where he won’t feel that guilt and loneliness. Rant over.
True. I don't know why he's so hung up over repaying his parents anyway. They seem like nice people to me. And even if he's adopted, isn't he their child too? I don't understand why humans are so obsessed with blood relations. You could be adopted but just be as important. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Sometimes ppl think they don’t deserve it or aren’t worth it especially if you think you were thrown away by your parents. So that’s most likely the reason. But yes he should have seen that they value him as a son.

Wow I just can't like a single thing about this. I feel sorry for the main character. Although he didn't want any of this, the story will just make him so abused and harassed that he ends up accepting what's being done to him as normal, and eventually accept his feelings as "love". Tbh I didn't even read the whole thing, just skimming through the pages made me want to barf ╮(￣▽￣)╭
