That’s what I meant. I MEAN, that’s the reason why she was naked, she fountain-projectiles vomit all over herself and the duke, passed out and was (inevitably) cleaned and changed (by the duke???) a maid and slept like a ROCK, NOT A MOVEMENT until morning. I mean the duke wanted her so bad, sosos bad so I don’t think he would stoop so low as to sleep with an inebriated woman (he loved) least of all an unconscious one, he would PLOT to say they slept together (but didn’t) to keep her by his side, kinda like blackmail ya know? But yeah, that’s my HOPEFUL theory, otherwise I’ll be really disappointed (if he truly assaulted an unconscious woman and then blackmailed her).
oh, yeah that kind of makes sense, that could be it too though I feel like that's not the route the story is gonna take. also, she wasn't unconscious during it (based on the last chapter) but rather super drunk to be able to think critically. still rapey though regardless
